Resonating the everyday natural environment with the sense of colour, the artist seeks to understand the origin of the overlapping states of time experience, and reflects on the experience of natural movement through the invisible multilayeredness of painting. Nature, and in particular the principles and processes found in nature, are the main sources of inspiration. The laconic landscapes, reduced to unrecognisable resolution, seem to blur the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, the perceived and the unperceived. His work combines unpredictable intuitive sensations with the construction of ritual patterns. Colour field paintings and/or abstract photography that follow the cycles of nature, coloured by states of observation and wonder(here-now experiences), correlate with the synaesthetic exploration of colour based on everyday practices.
He joins the school in 2022.
