JOKŪBAS GRIŠKA

Jokūbas Griška (b. 2000) is a young generation artist. He graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2024 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Arts and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Graphic Arts.

In his creative practice, the artist observes and analyses the different phenomena around him, and looks deeply into the phenomena themselves and the system of their functioning. His aim is to concentrate and purify the discovered image or idea to a level where there is no extraneous noise – only the viewer’s personal experience with the work. He uses a variety of media in his work, always looking for the most appropriate way to express an idea.
